Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
1. About This Statement
This statement sets out the steps Innovative Information Technologies Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary PMR Soft Tech Pvt. Ltd. (together, "Innovative", "we", "us") have taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our own business or in our supply chain.
Modern slavery, in the sense used here, includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. Innovative does not tolerate any of these practices anywhere in our operations or supply chain.
2. About Innovative
Innovative is a WBENC-certified Minority and Women Based Enterprise (MWBE) headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, USA, with a wholly-owned subsidiary in Hyderabad, India and additional delivery centres in Pune and Bangalore. We provide IT staffing and managed services (Innovative) and AI & data engineering (airisDATA) to Fortune 500 enterprises in banking, telecommunications, technology, public sector, and other regulated industries. Founded in 1997, we operate primarily as a professional-services and engineering-talent provider rather than a manufacturer, and our supply chain is correspondingly limited in scope.
3. Our Operations
Our workforce consists of professional engineers, recruiters, and operations staff employed either directly by Innovative or through our subsidiary. All US-placed personnel are I-9 / E-Verify cleared. Indian employment is governed by Indian labour law and includes statutory benefits, formal employment contracts, and standard PF / ESI / TDS compliance.
We do not engage workers through informal channels, day-labour pools, or unregulated intermediaries. All compensation is paid through traceable payroll channels in the relevant jurisdiction.
4. Our Supply Chain
The principal categories of suppliers we engage with are:
- Cloud and SaaS providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks);
- Recruiting platforms, technical-screening tools, and background-check vendors;
- Office services, IT equipment vendors, and professional services (legal, audit, insurance) at our US and India locations;
- Sub-vendors and bench partners we occasionally engage to source niche skills, all of whom must accept our standard supplier terms.
These categories carry a low inherent risk of modern slavery compared to industries such as agriculture, garment manufacturing, or construction. Nevertheless, we conduct supplier diligence proportionate to the engagement and require contractual commitments from material suppliers.
5. Policies
We maintain (and review periodically) a set of policies that, taken together, support compliance with this statement:
- Code of Conduct — expectations for employees, contractors, and partners.
- Recruitment & Onboarding Policy — identity verification, right-to-work checks, and standard employment terms.
- Whistleblowing Policy — confidential channels for raising concerns, including suspected modern-slavery issues, without fear of retaliation.
- Supplier Code of Conduct — standards we expect material suppliers and sub-vendors to meet.
6. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
We assess modern-slavery risk based on the geography, sector, and labour-intensity of the engagement. For higher-risk procurements we require additional contractual representations and the right to audit relevant supplier practices. Indian operations are reviewed locally by our subsidiary's HR and compliance team in line with Indian labour law.
7. Training and Awareness
Members of our recruiting, HR, and procurement functions receive guidance on identifying signs of forced labour, debt bondage, and other modern-slavery indicators in candidate and supplier relationships. Awareness materials are reviewed at least annually.
8. Effectiveness
We measure effectiveness through ongoing review of supplier and recruitment practices, the absence of substantiated modern-slavery concerns raised through our whistleblowing channels, and continuous improvement of the policies above. We are not aware of any actual or suspected instances of modern slavery in our operations or supply chain in the period covered by this statement.
9. Reporting Concerns
Anyone — whether an Innovative employee, a contractor, a supplier, a candidate, or a member of the public — who has a concern that modern slavery may be taking place in connection with our business or supply chain is encouraged to contact us in confidence at contact@innovativeinfotech.com with the subject line "Modern Slavery Concern". Reports made in good faith will be reviewed promptly and confidentially.
10. Approval
This statement was approved on behalf of Innovative Information Technologies Inc. and PMR Soft Tech Pvt. Ltd. by the leadership of Innovative for the financial year shown above. The named approving officer and signature block will be inserted before the statement is published in its final form.
